 With Angie's unemployment there's no money to take fabulous vacations.  So, what the heck, we decided to tackle a little project that's been on the back burner in the back yard.  At least it's a start!  

This here is what 1660 pounds of White River Basalt looks like.  We hand loaded it into the truck (lift #1), unloaded it into wheelbarrow (lift #2) and put it in place (lift #3).  Yes, we're near death! 
Here's the side "before" shot.  Compare this to the one below.  
We dug down about a foot to get rid of some of the slope.  We intend to build a deck here so we have about 8-12 more inches of slope to deal with.  A good start.  
Here's the front on view.  Not bad for a couple of girls, huh?
Now extents another 10 feet or so -- about 22' total.
