Animal Kingdom was new to us, and it was about 800 million degrees the day we
went. Mostly they had animals at the Animal Kingdom, so that's what we took
pictures of!
The remarkable Tree of Life. It has hundreds of hand
carved animals in the trunk.
So the thing to do is to take the safari to see all of
the animals. So we did, and as promised there were lots of
animals.
We think this is a cheetah.
We know this is an alligator (they really
had to look hard to find these guys to add to their animal preserve,
huh!)
This is an elephant.
These are the very scary Pink
Flamingos!
Look close, it's a giraffe.
These are something like Impala's, but they
didn't look like any Chevy I've ever seen.
Really, it's a hippo.
This was a termite hill. It looks like
a transplant from the Thunder Mountain Railroad!
Here's my all time favorite, a wart hog.
They had a great Live Actor Lion King
show. It somehow seemed appropriate in the Animal Kingdom.
