We moved a lot of dirt when building the deck and a lot of it ended up on the side of the house.  On a whim we decided to try to plant a couple of things over there to see if they'd survive.  Boy, did they survive!  Check here often to follow the pumpkin from conception to carving!   

	Here it is on August 26, about 5 inches across.
Here's my potatoes in a bucket.
Here's the tomotoes on the patio.  They're about 5 feet tall and have a gazillion tomatoes on them.
These are the tomatoes on the side of the house that we planted not really expecting them to do anything.  They are much taller than me now, about 6 feet tall.
