No. Cascade Hwy

OK, so maybe the trips aren't quite as elaborate now that I don't have any money. But, we still know how to have a good time! This is something we've wanted to do for a long time, take the North Cascade Highway loop. So in late September we started out at the Maltby Cafe for a wonderful breakfast and then headed east!
	We picked a beautiful weekend for a road trip. We stopped in Leavenworth for a short shopping excursion and headed for Chelan. Here's the sunset from our balcony at Campbell's Resort on the lake.
It was a nice big room with a fireplace. We brought swimsuits for the hot tub but never expected to be able to just soak up the sun in the afternoon by the lake.

I couldn't resist stopping at Marblemount where we spent so much time when we were kids.
	I was able to find the place where our parents had property and we spent countless weekends -- but there's a lock on the gate now so we couldn't go in.
